XLN Audio XO Expansion: Liquid Drum n Bass

Gritty breaks. Liquid flow.

Liquid Drum n Bass is what happens when breakneck tempo meets real feeling. It keeps the speed of Drum n Bass, but trades aggression for warmth, soul, and room to breathe.

This XO expansion captures that feeling. Vintage breaks bring dusty character, modern hits keep it tight, and ringing acoustic snares are layered with synths and noise. On top, textured hats and shakers blur into a soft shimmer.

The drums still punch, but nothing feels harsh. Kicks are clean and round, snares have a soft crack, and quiet ghost notes fill the gaps with movement. Add a deep sub bass, warm Rhodes chords, and a soulful vocal, and you have the start of a track.

With 75 presets and 204 samples, all fully editable in XO's sequencer, you can shape every groove until it feels like yours.
