New video and lightening control features

If you want to take your stage performance to the next level, video has become just as important as great sound and lighting. Whether you want to show the audience what’s happening on stage, capture your show for later post-production, or share highlights on social media - video is essential. Today, you simply can’t grab attention without moving images.

Be your own video director

Process as many real-time video sources as your system can handle and use them for live streaming or record them to video tracks for playback. And just like switching instrument sounds or syncing lighting, you can now automate video as well. With the integrated Video Director function, you decide exactly when each camera or video stream switches during your song. A dedicated video automation track handles all the timing for you - reliable, repeatable, and always in sync with your performance.

Direct connection to OBS

We’ve also added a direct OBS connection, which allows you to easily stream multi-camera content live. Now that you can program camera changes without a footswitch or someone else having to handle them, you can focus on the content and your presentation. This level of pre-programmed, synchronized multi-cam operation would not be possible with OBS alone.

DMX under control

DMX control has also been improved. Previously limited to tracks, it is now accessible directly in the mixer, complete with dedicated faders for intensity, mute, and solo. This feature places your DMX programming right where you control your sounds and music.

New audio features

VST Live 3 offers powerful, new audio features, including long-awaited additions such as the monitor mixer, practical enhancements for the chord and lyrics tracks and improvements in relation to the audio performance.

A brand new Monitor Mixer gives you full control of your sends — whether you’re using in-ear monitoring (IEM) or wedges — and lets you switch between monitor mixes instantly.

Add as many lyric tracks as you need

A lead singer needs different lyrics to be displayed than backing vocalists or those singing in a choir, who don’t need to see all the lyrics and want to concentrate on their parts. With dedicated multiple lyric tracks, new in VST Live 3, this is now possible.

Multiple chord tracks with individual displays

What applies to multiple lyric tracks also applies to chord tracks; everyone only sees what they need to see. Every musician in the band can now display their own chord track.

Powerful Synths

Because you can never have enough great sounds, VST Live 3 now includes the powerful Flux and Trip synth modules, as well as Groove Agent SE.

More features and performance improvements

In addition, we’ve improved the in-app help and added multi-language support. The input channels are now visible in the mixer and we have introduced shared modules, allowing loaded module instances to be used globally across your project, instead of creating these for each song over and over again.
