BHS METLX recreates the tones of 80's and 90's guitar legends like Zakk Wylde*, Warren DiMartini*, Paul Gilbert* (70 Rigs + 31 presets)

BHS METLX is the TH-U expansion library created by Big Hairy Sounds that recreates the tones of 80's and 90's guitar legends like Zakk Wylde*, Warren DiMartini*, Paul Gilbert*, and others. This amp is based on Metaltronix GP-1000* and SP-1000* rack preamps and powers amps, as well as the M-1000* amplifier.

The library contains 70 Rigs captured using the following amplifiers:

• Metaltronix GP-1000*"one of the original single channel high gain preamps originating from the Sunset Strip. Used extensively in Zakk Wylde's original rack setup and continued to be used by metal masters such as Alexi Laiho* for it's tight gain and signature mid-range.
• Metaltronix M-1000*"this two channel head was the secret weapon of rock and metal gods during the late 80's. It was the loud and high gain evolution of the modded British heads that were used by many famous guitarists.
• Marshall JCM800 & Silver Jubliee*"essential amplifiers to round out the collection of Zakk Wylde style tones.

The library also includes 31 patches focused on recreating famous 80's and 90's hard rock and metal guitar tones.

SYMPHONIC 90 EFFECT INCLUDED!

The BHS Metlx library adds a brand new modulation rack effect into TH-U. The Symphonic 90 effect reproduces the unique Yamaha-style chorusing effect that was heavily used in late 80s early 90s. Its iconic sound can be heard on Ozzy Ozborne's No Rest for the Wicked and No More Tears"this effect is the big stereo chorus on Zack Wilde's guitar sound. It's also responsible for the swirling, 'soupy" bass effect that is heard on Nirvana's Nevermind.
