Overloud Jensen Vintage Ceramic C12Q - SuperCabinet IR Library

This is a systematic capture of a Jensen Vintage Ceramic C12Q speaker from their Vintage Series installed in two different enclosures: a 1x12" Open Back cabinet and a 2x12" Open Back cabinet, for a total of 1216 IRs.

This SuperCabinet IR library was developed in conjunction with a Jensen Speakers product specialist to recreate the most authentic playing experience possible, as if you were playing through an original speaker.

Following the heritage of the P12Q, its AlNiCo predecessor, the C12Q is one of the most versatile speakers in the Vintage range. Powerful enough for a cranked Deluxe-style amp, it delivers bite and presence in a compact 1x12 enclosure, while retaining balance and warmth. In the classic 2x12 open-back format, it delivers a pleasant, open, full-bodied tone. The C12Q is highly regarded for its seamless transition from clean to crunch tones, rich in harmonics, and flavored with just a hint of musical compression. It’s a favorite of many manufacturers, including Fender®, Ampeg®, Silvertone® and Supro®, just to name a few.

Every microphone was moved to four different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone and Cone Edge) and two distances and two angulations, for a total of 16 IRs each.

All the measurement set has been repeated for each one of the cabinets in the library.

All IRs have been phase aligned and they can be blended without phase cancellations.

FLUID IR NOW AVAILABLE WITHIN TH-U FOR ALL CABINETS AND SUPERCABINET IR LIBRARIES!

Overloud’s TH-U will be updated to v.1.4.26 with Fluid IR now available for all TH-U Cabinets and all SuperCabinet IR Libraries! Fluid IRs are an advanced form of impulse responses that offer more detailed sonic characteristics compared to traditional IRs. Unlike regular IRs that merely mimic a speaker's frequency response, Fluid IRs also reproduce the speaker's dynamic behavior and harmonics. This enhancement delivers a tone that is thicker, more lifelike, and direct, with better management of the bass frequencies.

As of version 1.4.26, all cabinets in TH-U and all of the SuperCabinet libraries have been upgraded to include Fluid IRs, which are provided to users as a free update.

Additionally, users have the option to upload their own conventional IRs into TH-U, taking advantage of Overloud's proprietary Fluid IR technology. This exciting feature utilizes an AI algorithm trained to transform your IRs by recreating their dynamic and harmonic responses.

This library was created for the TH-U SuperCabinet that allows you to:

• Graphically browse the IRs in the library
• Blend multiple IRs and create totally custom and huge stereo guitar tones
• Compose new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
• Export your crafted IRs in .wav format for use with all major hardware modelers and software IR loaders
