Description

Whether you’re working with drum samples or live drums, Drum Flow allows you to express your artistic vision and create a unique sound with the ultimate drum processing solution.

Drums are the backbone of your music. They set the tone, energy, and vibe that make your sound unique. Drum Flow is a comprehensive drum processing solution that offers six reroutable effects to enhance the punch, detail, and attack of your drums without compromising their nuance, clarity, and warmth. Drum Flow features Harrison’s exclusive ‘Character’ processing, which detects drum hit transients and allows you to EQ the attack and tail sections of the envelope individually. This gives you the power to create a sound that is truly original and distinctive. Drum Flow also includes a recreation of the legendary 32C EQ used on many classic albums. The 32C EQ is renowned for its musicality with a smooth and warm character and can infuse your tracks with vintage vibe on anything you throw its way! Additionally, Drum Flow comes with a built-in signal generator that allows you to add sub-tones or noise to your drum sounds for extra flavor.

Dial in the perfect amount of compression, EQ, and gate, whether you need to add punch to your kick, tighten your snare, brighten your cymbals, or add some depth to your toms. Drum Flow is the ultimate drum plugin for pros and enthusiasts alike. It will help you create a stunning drum sound that will blow away your clients!

  • Unique ‘Drum Character’ harmonic EQ
  • Classic 32C Channel EQ
  • Super Flexible Filters
  • Expander/Gate
  • Signal Generator
  • Compressor

Drum Character

The Drum Character is a unique equalizer that detects drum hit transients and allows for the attack and tail sections of the envelope to be EQed individually allowing you to alter the actual character of the drum sound. The Drum Character is your companion as you unleash your musical passion and explore its infinite possibilities.

32C Channel EQ

This module is a faithful replication of the 32C channel strip EQ by Harrison, which is known for its warm and rich sound. You can use this module to adjust your sound with precision and expression. It has the same analog EQ as the Harrison 32C channel strip and allows you to craft your sound with an amazing sound quality.

Filters

The Filter module gives you access to Harrison’s legendary high and low pass Filters, which have variable slopes that let you control how steeply they cut off the unwanted frequencies. You can set the corner frequencies of the Filters by turning their Frequency knobs or by typing in the exact values you want in the Frequency control labels. The Filter module is a powerful way to shape your sound and make it more clear and crisp.

Expander Gate

Harrison’s amazing dynamic processor that lets you switch between a gate or an expander to easily give your drum sounds a sharp and clear edge and eliminate the unwanted noise from other drum mics with flexible sidechain filtering.

Signal Generator

Add some extra snap or thump to your drum sounds by mixing in some gated synth or noise with different tones to choose from. The Signal Generator is a handy tool to add some flavor to your drum hits with various types of synth sounds, like white noise on a snare or a low sine wave on a kick. The synth sound is triggered by a gate that follows the main input so it only plays when the drum hits. You can then adjust the balance between the synth sound and the main drum sound using the Wet and Dry faders.

Compressor

Harrisons console compressor is a powerful tool that lets you shape your music exactly the way you want. This compressor is based on the legendary Harrison Mixbus channel strip compressor, but with the added flexibility of Attack and Release controls. Whether you want to smooth out vocals, punch up drums, or glue together a mix, the Harrison console compressor can do it all.

Harrison Drum Flow — A Secret Weapon for Killer Drum Mixes

As an electronic music producer who obsesses over every kick, snare, and transient in my mixes, I've used countless channel strip plugins and drum processors. BUT, Harrison Drum Flow stands out as one of the most intelligently designed and immediately usable plugins for drum mixing and mastering out there.

Whether I’m surgically sculpting snares, tightening kick tails, or adding attitude to layered breaks, Drum Flow gives me everything I need — in one cohesive and efficient interface.

    What Makes Drum Flow Unique?

Unlike generic channel strips or one-size-fits-all processors, Drum Flow is purpose-built for modern drum processing, with modules tuned specifically for percussive material. Each section works seamlessly together, but can also be used individually or re-ordered — giving you incredible flexibility.

    1. Input Drive with Saturation Control

At the very start of the signal path, the Input Drive lets you push your drum hits into harmonic distortion with a warm, analog-style clip. With subtle warmth or aggressive punch, it's perfect for making kicks and snares feel more analog.

    2. Spectral Compression

This is one of the most impressive and underrated features. Instead of compressing broadband dynamics, it reacts only to frequencies that spike above the threshold. Keep transients sharp while taming harshness. Incredible for snappy snares and dynamic overheads. Feels like smart, adaptive EQ + Compression in one.

    3. Harrison 32C Saturation EQ
