Combining the full sample content of the previously available BBO Packs Andromeda (Tutti Essentials), Altair (Section Essentials), and Black Eye (Tutti Phrases & FX), this comprehensive collection places all orchestral power at your fingertips. With the streamlined Flow View in the Synchron Player, accessing and combining patches has never been easier – inspiration flows freely from the very first note.

Tutti Patches

The Tutti Patches deliver instant orchestral power: staccatos, sustains, marcatos, swells, and runs – all perfectly suited for bold accents, dramatic “braaahms,” and high-impact scoring moments. Mixer Presets range from “close” to “distant,” while “Processed” settings summon a ready-to-mix, modern cinematic sound.

Fine-tune your orchestra mix with individually adjustable close mic positions for low and high strings, woodwinds, horns, trumpets, and low brass. Choose between aggressive or mellow low brass, and decide whether to include the piccolo’s brilliant top end for extra bite. Short notes feature optimized repetitions for natural, energetic performances, while long notes offer expressive, soft, sfz, and sffz variants, plus crescendos in multiple lengths.

As a bonus, the included Con Sordino Tutti library adds beautifully veiled and mysterious textures, performed softly by the entire orchestra with muted strings and brass, and a specially chosen low-register woodwind ensemble for a dark, intimate orchestral color.

Section Patches

In addition to the tutti performances, BBO Tutti includes corresponding section recordings of strings, woodwinds, and brass – providing exceptional flexibility for orchestrators. The unique recording concept ensures perfect sonic cohesion: each note was first played by the full orchestra, then immediately by the individual sections in the same phrasing and dynamic context.

This allows you to freely combine or isolate the sections while maintaining the same sonic character and spatial coherence. In the Synchron Player, easily switch between tutti, section, or mixed configurations, all blending seamlessly with each other and with any other Big Bang Orchestra patch.

Multiple microphone positions, including extra close mics for all main sections, give you complete control over the balance and perspective. Whether used alone or layered with other BBO libraries, these patches let you shape your own orchestral force with speed and precision.

For instant impact and inspiration, Tutti Phrases & FX Patches deliver pre-orchestrated orchestral textures and effects – ready to drop into your score. Played by the full 70-piece orchestra, these breathtaking performances include clusters, arpeggios, hits, rips, runs, rhythms, and tension sustains, all available in multiple dynamic variations and articulations.

From thunderous hits to delicate glissandi, from rising tension clusters to evolving sustained textures, every sound embodies the expressive energy of a live orchestra in full motion. The collection even includes muted (con sordino) variants for a softer, more mysterious tone.

Stereo Decca Tree Presets

The "Decca tree" is the microphone tree that is the heart and soul of every orchestral recording. It consists of a main stereo channel and a mono center channel and captures the details of the room from the conductor’s perspective.

Surround to Stereo Presets

Enjoy the massive sound of all available room microphones, including the decca tree mics, down-mixed to a stereo signal. You will get a great impression of the huge sound our Synchron Stage Vienna is known for.
