Build the foundation

Great bass design is no longer a dark art. Pure SUB breaks the sound into three essential layers so you can shape each independently and build a solid bass core from the ground up.

Sub
Take control of the low end with a dedicated Sub section, shaping the fundamental’s level, phase and pitch independently from harmonics. Push processing hard, then use Sub Regen to restore a clean, stable fundamental.
Harmonics
Next, build the tone in Harmonics. Switch between Pressure and Reese modes, explore waveforms from clean 808s to complex, evolving shapes, then use dedicated controls to create everything from focused punch to shuddering stereo movement.
Texture
Complete the core with Noise or Corroder modes. Shape noise against the fundamental using Ring Modulation, AM or Distortion, or add key-tracked White Noise, Sine, Saw and Square tones for grit, movement and greater presence.

Make it growl

Turn a heavyweight core into hard-hitting sound-system impact. Reshape its harmonic profile, push the timbre from clean pressure into hard-edged distortion and texture with the Sub Processor, then use the Maximiser to deliver pumping, controlled loudness.

Shape
Creatively reshape your sound with more than 40 filter modes, from clean contours to driven, destructive shapes. Route Sub, Harmonics and Texture independently to bend exactly the layers you want.
Process
Up the aggression level with the Sub Processor, combining 33 modes with varying degrees of distortion, texture and tonal reshaping. Randomise, or go deeper with 18 effects across 12 FX slots.
Maximise
Everything you need to make your bass shake the ground. Tighten the mix with EQ, compression and multiband processing, then push the Maximiser for heavy pumping, maximum loudness and added grit.

A drop-defining bass should never stand still. Shape how every note strikes, moves and evolves with dedicated envelopes and flexible modulation, from pitch dives and syncopated wobbles to shifting Reeses and controlled low-end chaos.

Alongside three fixed envelopes, a dedicated pitch envelope makes punch and impact one click away. Shape the pitch drop to give any bass a harder-hitting transient or create gliding, 808-inspired movement.
Modulate in one drop
Bring your bass to life in seconds. Drag and drop a modulator onto any parameter, dial in the depth, then animate the modulation itself for evolving, unpredictable results.
Choose how it moves
Fill six flexible slots with any combination of Envelope, Function, Random, Voice Modulator or Step Sequencer sources for rhythmic wobbles, evolving Reeses, stepped patterns or note-by-note variation.
