Description
There were a huge number of reverb processors created in the '80s and '90s"most of which are practically unknown. Dusty Racks Vol. 1 strives to bring the unique characteristics of these hidden gems to the surface, and prove that they can stand up to the unique and valuable sound of more well-known reverbs.
Dusty Racks Vol. 1 contains six highly unique units:
- Yamaha REV7* (40 IRs)
- Alesis Quadraverb* 2 (60 IRs)
- Lexicon ALEX* (50 IRs)
- Roland SRV-2000* (54 IRs)
- Roland DEP-3* (50 IRs)
- Dynacord DRP15* (80 IRs)
The impulse responses were recorded using Neve and SSL preamps, and all of the impulses were carfefully edited to ensure they were consistent throughout the entire library.
A Collection of 334 IRs and 208 Individual Presets
The presets of Dusty Racks Vol. 1 were created during actual studio mixing sessions with a particular focus on vocals, keyboards, synth, drums as well as acoustic instruments. The impulses are divided into two banks. One bank is made with single IR presets, designed to replicate the original vibe. The other is a multi-layer bank where the presets combine two or more IRs from different units in order to create undiscovered reverb spaces.
Please note: Dusty Racks Vol. 1 includes the REmatrix Player (free) which allows any IR to be loaded and used in a DAW or standalone with basic editing capabilities. Alternatively, Dusty Racks Vol. 1 can also be loaded into REmatrix Full (also on promotion) which allows for complete editing capability.

APPLE SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY
This library requires REmatrix or Free REmatrix Player to be used.
REmatrix is available as AudioUnit, VST, RTAS (ProTools 8, 9 and 10), AAX32 (ProTools 10.3.5 and above), AAX64 (ProTools 11 and 12) plugins, as well as a standalone application.
Both 32bit and 64bit are natively supported.
You can authorize REmatrix on up to three computers that you own and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure (no hardware key needed).
