TC Electronic TC 8210 - Classic Mixing Reverb

Okay, so like… I don’t even know why I am writing this, because everything is basically pointless except for this reverb. Like seriously. My mom says I can’t stay out past 9 even though I’m literally not a child anymore, and she still doesn’t get why I need a real studio setup in my room. “You already have garage band” as if. As IF!.

Anyway, the TC8210 is actually, like, the only thing that understands me. The plate and Hall algorithms are so lush it’s like, -ugh- it makes everything sound like the last scene of a sad 80’s movie where the girl walks away in the rain. Which is basically how I feel all the time. ( especially after =he= walks by. Yes, HIM. The boy across the street who literally looks like if Ezra Koenig had a skater phase.)

I put this reverb on my vocals and suddenly I don’t sound like some girl stuck in her bedroom, I sound like I’m singing in a cathedral where angels cry. And it’s got this smooth room sound. I swear, when I sing with that on, it feels like he might actually notice me. Like not just wave at me from his dumb car but like really notice me ya know.

So yeah. If you want a reverb that feels like falling in love and screaming into your pillow at 2am then this is it.
